Terms of Service

Terms and conditions governing use of beamwebsite.com and our services.

Last updated: 2026

These terms govern your use of https://beamwebsite.com and any services we provide. By using the site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

Services

Beam Website provides web design, development, SEO, hosting, and maintenance services. The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline of any engagement are defined in a written proposal signed by both parties.

Payment

Payment terms are specified in each project proposal. By default: 50% to initiate work, 50% on launch. Late payments beyond 30 days incur a 1.5% monthly service charge. Work on active projects pauses when payments are overdue by more than 15 days.

Project scope and changes

Each proposal defines a fixed scope. Changes requested outside that scope are quoted separately and added to the final invoice. Two rounds of revisions at both wireframe and design stages are included in standard engagements.

Intellectual property

Upon final payment, you receive full ownership of all custom design and code produced specifically for your project. We retain the right to showcase the work in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Open-source libraries, frameworks, fonts, and stock assets remain under their respective licenses. We provide a list of all third-party components used in your project.

Content and accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and ownership of any content you provide — text, images, video, data. By providing content, you confirm you have the rights to use it. We are not liable for content you supply.

Warranty and liability

We warrant that work is performed in a professional manner using industry best practices. We provide a 30-day post-launch bug-fix window at no charge. Beyond that, maintenance plans or hourly rates apply.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate an active project with written notice. If you terminate mid-project, you remain liable for all work completed to date, calculated as a pro-rata percentage of the project scope. Deposits are non-refundable.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where Beam Website is registered. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation, then mediation, before any legal proceeding.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised date. Changes do not apply retroactively to signed proposals.
