A 5-page starter site runs about 3-4 weeks from kickoff to launch. A 15-page business site runs 5-7 weeks. Custom projects are quoted individually — most fall between 8 and 12 weeks. We give firm timelines in the written proposal.
What do you need from me to start?
A free 30-minute discovery call is the first step. After that, we'll ask for your existing brand assets (logo, fonts, color palette if you have one), any content you've already written, and access to your current site if you have one. If you don't have content yet, we help you develop it.
Will my site work on mobile?
Yes — every site we build is designed mobile-first and tested on real devices across iPhone, Android, and tablets. Over 60% of your visitors arrive on a phone, so we treat mobile as the primary canvas, not an afterthought.
Can I edit the site myself after launch?
Depending on the build. Static sites are fastest and most secure but require a developer for structural changes. If you need to edit content yourself, we can integrate a headless CMS (Sanity, Payload, Craft) or build on WordPress with a locked-down admin. We'll recommend the right fit for your use case.
Do you work with WordPress?
Yes, when it's the right tool. WordPress makes sense when editors need to manage lots of content without developer help. For simple marketing sites, a static build is faster, cheaper, and more secure. We'll recommend what fits your actual needs.
What happens if I don't like the design?
Two rounds of revisions are included at the wireframe and mockup stages, so you have multiple chances to redirect. We present designs with real content and get sign-off before any code gets written — nobody has ever been surprised by what we delivered at launch.
Will my site rank on Google?
We build sites with the full technical SEO foundation: clean URLs, schema, Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, sitemap, canonical rules, Open Graph, structured data. That gives your site every technical advantage. Rankings also depend on content quality, backlinks, and competition in your niche — SEO is a long game and we're honest about it.
Do you offer ongoing support after launch?
Yes. Every project includes free post-launch support (30 days for Starter, 60 days for Business, 90 days for Custom). After that, most clients move to a monthly maintenance plan starting at $49/month that covers hosting, updates, backups, and small content changes.
Can you redesign my existing site without breaking SEO?
Absolutely — this is one of our specialties. We map every existing URL, set up proper 301 redirects, migrate meta tags and schema, submit new sitemaps, and monitor rankings for 90 days post-launch. Most of our redesign clients see traffic increase after launch, not decrease.
Do you build e-commerce sites?
Yes. We work with Shopify, WooCommerce, Snipcart, and custom Stripe integrations. For small catalogs (under 20 products), a static build with Snipcart is often ideal. Larger stores typically go on Shopify. We'll scope the right platform during the proposal.
What if my project is bigger than your Custom plan?
We take on multi-month engagements for complex builds. If your project is in the $25,000+ range, email us a brief and we'll discuss scope, team allocation, and timeline. We've shipped SaaS marketing sites with hundreds of programmatic pages, multi-region e-commerce, and complex membership platforms.
How do you handle payment?
50% to kick off, 50% on launch. Larger projects can be split into milestone payments. We accept wire, ACH, and credit card. All invoices in USD by default; EUR and GBP available on request.
What if we're not happy with the final result?
In 120+ projects we haven't had this happen, because we build in checkpoints throughout: content outlines, wireframes, mockups, staging reviews. Every stage requires your approval before we move forward. That said, we offer a 30-day post-launch iteration window to address anything that doesn't work in production.
